Abstract

Dalit literature signifies an important period in history of India's awakening of a vast number of oppressed  people. It is their liberation, as well as their protest, disagreement, and revolt. Dalit literature is a genre that  offers voice to those who have experienced humiliation, exploitation, marginalisation, and revolt in India's underprivileged communities.
